Touring the world with Josh Groban!
Well, I was keeping it quiet at first, but the cat’s out of the bag now! I’m currently on tour with Josh Groban, which I must say is pretty exciting. Lots of traveling, huge venues, and I even get a pretty nice solo spot with Josh on “Broken Vow.” I played that for the first time at Chicago’s United Center, and boy was it a rush. We’ll be hitting many major US cities as well as a lot of Europe, so needless to say, I’m pretty excited about that. Check out Josh’s website for updates: www.joshgroban.com.
Also, check out this video of my electric sextet, featuring Gavin Templeton on alto sax, Brian Walsh on bass clarinet, Rory Cowal on keys, Dominic Thiroux on electric bass, and Caleb Dolister on drums, doing a pretty rocking version of “Fallen Angeles.” We recorded this at Joe Bartone’s house back in March and Thomas Nolle did the video – thanks guys for hooking that up!
And don’t worry, I’ll be coming back from tour with lots of new compositions to get busy on with my LA compatriots, as well as new recordings on the way from the Vinny Golia Sextet, Orkestar Meze, and more!
